Purpose of NDA
The NDA is run by the Indian Army and India’s three air forces. From the trainee’s point of view, they aim to graduate as an officer from the NDA. The goal of the NDA is for this training to follow the National Defence College syllabus. They conduct an entrance examination, interview, and fitness test for recruits. On the other hand, there are no eligibility criteria as far as admission to NDA is concerned.
You may still get a chance to go through its rigorous training. NDA trains almost half of the officers who are inducted into the Indian armed forces. However, the selection of cadets to NDA is based on their ‘A’ Grade board and ‘A’ Grade Physical & Medical tests.
What does an NDA do?

All full-time students there take full advantage of the facilities they offer, such as a library, computer facility, libraries, a workshop, a cafeteria, classrooms, hostels, a sports ground, and a student-athlete program.

How to become an NDA?
The admission process starts in June. For admission, candidates must take the test. The test is taken in two parts: the medical and physical. The physical exam for NDA will be the Command Performance Test (CPT). Candidates will go through a comprehensive test to find out their potential. They will be allowed to attempt as many questions as they like.
All candidates who clear this phase can take the written test (PST), which will be the main entrance exam. Provisional allotment: Candidates will be selected after the written test and in the other phase. Once they clear the written test, they will be given provisional admission. After the official entry by the university, NDA will provide the written test result to all candidates after a week.

What is the duration of the course?
The training lasts for five years & 45 days. What is the salary of an NDA NDA recruited by the Union government after 1st year of training & graduated in 5th year? NDA is highly competitive, given the prestigious status it holds. In general, the starting pay for NDA graduates is 10,000 Rs per month.
How many people participate? There are two separate batches. Firstly, the batch being trained at National Defence Academy at Dehradun, Uttarakhand (excluding the Training Wing), and at Joint Military Academy at Pune. The second batch of students is being trained at NDA Jammu & Kashmir at NDA Tauchi, Baramulla, J&K. the giant batch in all these two batches is about 250 students NDA NDA Jammu & Kashmir.
How to apply for the course?
The application process for NA is the first step that needs to be done, but after this, you must take the required admission exam. The NDA admission exam is taken in two steps; one is conducted online, and the other is in physical condition. Once the admission is confirmed, you can finally take the classes.
For admission in the introductory course, all the candidates must have passed at least 10th or 12th grade. Important facts to remember: Candidates aged 18 to 25 years are eligible to apply for class 10 or 12. Also, candidates who do not belong to Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for the exam.
