WBPCB Recruitment 2020 for Assistant Engineer/Clerk/Others – 48 Posts Eligibility, Salary, Admit Card, Exam Date, and Full Notification – The West Bengal Pollution Control Board WBPCB has announced an online job notification for recruitment to the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer, Junior Environmental Engineer, Environmental Analyst, Lab Assistant, Clerk/Others. There are 48 vacancies are to be filled for these posts. Interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply from 10 December 2020 to 31 December 2020. West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) is the first federal environmental regulation of the country, the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Government of West Bengal constiituted the West Bengal Prevention and Control of Water Pollution Board vide Notification . After introduction of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, the Board constituted under the Water Act was given the responsibility to implement the provisions of the Air Act within the state of West Bengal and the said Board was renamed as the West Bengal Pollution Control Board.

- Diploma in Electrical/Bio Technology/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical/Environmental/Instrumentation/Automobile or public health engineering from approved state council for technical education of government of West Bengal.

For Environmental Analyst:
- Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science/Geology/Biology/zoology/Botany/Chemistry/Micro biology/Physics/Bio Chemistry/Bio Technology from a recognized university with 2 years experience in laboratory.

- Bachelor Degree in commerce from a recognized university with 5 years experience in accounts work.
