Educational Qualification for Odisha Civil Service Exam 2021
- Bachelor’s Degree: candidates must have obtained an undergraduate degree from any recognized University.

Age Limit for Odisha Civil Service Exam Recruitment 2021
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years on the 1st day of January, 2020, i.e. he/she must not have been born earlier than 2nd January, 1988 and not later than 1st January, 1999.
Upper Age Limit Relaxation
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 (five) years for candidates belonging to S.C./S.T./S.E.B.C./ Women/ Ex-Serviceman and by 10 (ten) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% or more.
Note :- Persons with Disabilities belonging to SC/ST/ SEBC categories are eligible for cumulative age relaxation benefit.
Odisha Civil Service Examination 2021 Application Fee
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred) only. The fee paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor can the fee be adjusted or held in reserve for any other examination or recruitment. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe of Odisha by birth only, and persons with a disability, whose permanent disability is 40% or more are exempted from payment of this fee.

Odisha Civil Service Exam Recruitment 2021 Selection Process
- Candidates’ selection will be done thru the pre, mains and interview assessment test.
- The authority will conduct the Main examination, after the commencement of the preliminary examination.

Stage I- Preliminary exam
This stage includes 2 papers, objective type (MCQs) will be asked.
Paper I: General Studies (maximum marks 200)
The merit list of the test takers will be finalized based on their marks in the Paper I.
Paper-II: Paper 2 includes aptitude questions and weightage is 200 marks. Paper 2 will be qualifying in nature and it is mandatory for the candidates to get a minimum of 33% in Paper-II else their Paper I will not be evaluated.
Both paper 1 and paper 2 will have a duration of 2 hours (each).

Stage III: Personality Test
Only those who qualify the mains examination will be called for a personality test round interview. The personality test has a weightage of 250 marks. This round is included to test candidates’ mental alertness, logical skills, critical skills, variety, and depth of interest, and most importantly their ability to become leaders and give a balanced judgment.
Candidates qualifying the Main exam will get a call for an interview from the Board constituted by the OPSC. The Interview round holds 250 marks.
