About SSS NIBE: Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bio-Energy (SSS-NIBE), Kapurthala formerly SSS-NIRE, is an autonomous Institution under the Ministry New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India. The Institute is an up-coming R&D Institute with its mandate to carry out state-of-the-art R&D and innovations, covering the entire spectrum of bioenergy leading to commercialization of technology and their integration with other renewable energy technologies. The Institute is spread over 75-acre land at 12 KM stone in Jalandhar Kapurthala National Highway adjacent of IK Gujral Punjab Technical University and Pushpa Gujral Science City.

Educational Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow :
- Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET/GATE qualified OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses.
Senior research fellow :
- Post Graduate (PG) Degree in Basic Sciences and NET/GATE qualified OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses with 2 years of research experience.
Research Associate:
- PhD/MS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/MTech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
