Recruitment of System Manager/ Programmer/ Project Assistant
NO. NISTADS/P/01/2009
NISTADS (Constituent laboratory of CSIR), Delhi, invites applications from the Indian nationals for the following positions which are purely temporary and contractual under the DST sponsored project “Database Management and Support Facility for INSPIRE Programme”. The initial engagements will be made for 1 year, which may be extended upto 3 years with yearly increment of 3%of the basic stipend upon the performance of the candidate.The offer of engagement will be co-terminus with the project or it can be terminated earlier, if in the opinion of the competent authority it is found necessary to do so. A suitable honorarium subject to maximum of two months of stipend could be given at the end of the year based on the satisfactory performance. Age is no bar for all positions.
Position 1 :- System Manager/Co-ordinator (1 Position)
Essential qualifications: M. Tech or equivalent
Desirable: Technical and managerial exposure and evidence of leadership.
Stipend: Rs. 25,000/- pm
Position 2 :- Programmer/System Engineer/Project Executive (3 Positions)
Essential qualifications: MSc /MCA/BE or B. Tech
Desirable: Good proficiency in at least one or more of the platform JAVA (JSP, JAVA – SERVLET, EJB)/MS (VB, DOT-NET, ASP) and Database (MS-SQL/MySql/Oracle/DB2) and Operating System (Linux/Windows/Solaris)
Preference will be given to candidates having certification like CCNA, MCSE, MCSD, and Oracle DBA etc.
and/or Good understanding of statistical techniques, econometrics
Stipend: Rs. 17,000 – 20,000/- pm
Position 3 :- Project Assistant/Executive (2 Positions):
Essential qualifications: MA/MSc/MCA or equivalent
Desirable: Good proficiency in at least one or more of the platform JAVA (JSP, JAVA – SERVLET, EJB)/MS (VB, DOT-NET, ASP) and Database (MS-SQL/MySql/Oracle/DB2) and Operating System (Linux/Windows/Solaris)
Experience in data handling and analysis and capability to write good English
Stipend: Rs. 10,000 – 14,000/- pm
Position 4:- Support Staff/Data Entry Operator (4 Positions): (These positions are for six months only)
Essential qualification: Minimum 12th Standard
Desirable: Prior knowledge of MS Office and other office works like file keeping, document maintenance.
Stipend: Rs. 5,000 - 7,000/- pm (maximum)
